Steve Carle has been taking photographs for most of his life. He has recently begun to take photographs at
a professional level on the advice of others. In his first competition at the Tulsa State Fair all his photographs entered
won awards. While his formal training is in Business and Computer Communications, he has read scores of photography magazines
and attended classes on photography.
One belief he has as a photographer is that good images are all around us hiding in nature, landscapes, structures
and objects. Steve strives to differentiate his work from other photographers by using extreme contrasts, angles, and vivid
colors.
Steve’s recent projects included donating a photograph of the Jenks Bridge to the Jenks Chamber of Commerce.
He's also is preparing a book of photography on unusual homes in Tulsa and the surrounding area. If you think your home is
unusual in style, color, or surroundings and would like to have it included in this publication please contact Steve
through e-mail at artfullphotos@valornet.com.
He is currently working on a series of photographs of his home town, Tulsa. His near future projects will
include photographs of Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas, Texas, and New Mexico. Being an avid traveler he plans to always add new
images in his travels of North America and the rest of the world.
All his work is captured with a Canon D20 and Canon Mark II s digital cameras. He adjusts the images in Photoshop,
if needed, and prints the images on Epson professional printers using archival inks.
